It is now six years since the inception of the school in 2003. Our academic performance has continued to attract great admiration from all over the country and the region at large. This is a sign of hard work and determination.

We have continued to develop our infrastructure over the years. The girls and the boys' dormitories have been expanded and renovated. All that and many others not mentioned here loudly tell what a big step we have moved. This big step is a result of the response of our parents, the unreserved commitment of the staff, Board of Governors and the wisdom of the Board of Directors. Our sincere and profound gratitude to you all. The teachers are working tirelessly to make poor students good and good ones superior and produce the increasingly good results every year. They have been good combatants and together with non teaching staff, they are to continue exhibiting such great commitment and team work for the greater success.

Our primary objective is to ensure high academic standards which will help the learner realise his/her goal and save the parent from the high fees charged by the tertiary institutions of learning

The school maintains good discipline amidst the growing students population. The students and the public should be our witness that our school is working tirelessly to ensure the high standards of discipline. Thanks to the collective effort of the staff, the uncompromising disciplinary committee and the parents.

Our students' talents have been developed to satisfactory levels in different areas of football, netball, music, dance, drama among others. In sanitation, the standard is admired by many. The public has applauded both the students appearance and the environment in which we live. Our view is to prepare students who will be responsible citizens in future.

The other crucial area is that of students' leadership. We have tried our best to nurture leadership among the student leaders. These leaders are elected democratically by fellow students and they undergo periodic training to instil leadership skills in them.

The unlimited generosity, foresight and commitment towards seeing Nsambya S.S. achieving its basic goal of providing quality education is paramount. Best relationship exists amongst Teaching, Non teaching, Students and Directors coupled with good welfare for employees and students in the school.

Nsambya Secondary School is a home to multinationals with students from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Sudan, Somali, Nigeria, Mozambique among others who come with divergent cultural views, but Nsambya Secondary School being founded on Christian basis, models these students into good citizens suiting within and outside Nsambya S.S. With great thanks to The Almighty God, Nsambya S.S over the years has transformed students who come from different background into God fearing and upright citizens. This is done through our fully functional Scripture Union department which is concerned with spiritual upbringing of the students. Other co-curricular activities such as Sports (netball, football, etc) which is done every Fridays keep the students mentally and physically fit. Nsambya Secondary School welcomes you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Scripture Union Patron

Scripture Union (SU) is a spiritual department of Nsambya Secondary School that gives students an opportunity to develop a stronger relationship with God by addressing all their spiritual concerns and needs. SU encourages students to find support, help and hope through bonding, fellowship, bible study, prayers, counseling, testimonies, music, dance and drama and an adventure into the word of God.
The SU’s mission is to encourage and equip students to live a God fearing life, holy and free from sin, follow Jesus Christ and participate in His mission of bringing hope to the hopeless.

To help maintain a healthy spiritual atmosphere that enables our students to experience the presence of God, we conduct two main services every week. On Thursday from 4:30pm - 6:00pm and Sunday from 8:00am - 11:00am. Besides the two weekly worship services, there are a number of small group gatherings focusing on bible study, prayer, testimonies, praise and worship as well as choir rehearsals. Scripture Union has a number ministers and visiting pastors from within and outside the country. These are anointed ministers that speak on new dimension of revelatory knowledge in scripture and mysteries of the faith that is of Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour! They have the Love for the students and desire to enrich the children of God to arise. The best kept secret of SU in Nsambya S.S. is the dedication of the SU leaders that serve prayerfully each week.
